Our Produce

Everything here is grown on our 12-acre property in Langley. Availability changes weekly — if you don't see something, ask us. We may have it or can plan for it next season.

Warm Season Harvest

Available roughly May through September, depending on the year.

Spinach
May – Aug

Spinach

Baby and full-size. Sweet and tender when grown in cool spring conditions. Sold in bunches or bags.

Kale
May – Nov

Kale

Lacinato (dinosaur) and curly varieties. One of our longest-running crops — hardy through light frost.

Zucchini
Jul – Sep

Zucchini & Squash

Green zucchini, yellow zucchini, and patty pan. We harvest young for best texture — never woody.

Lettuce
Apr – Sep

Lettuce

Butter, romaine, red leaf, and mixed head lettuce. Cut-and-come-again or whole heads available.

Strawberries
Jun – Jul

Strawberries

June-bearing heritage varieties. Small, fragrant, and intensely sweet — nothing like what you get in a grocery store.

Fresh herbs
May – Oct

Fresh Herbs

Basil, dill, parsley, cilantro, thyme, and rosemary. Sold in generous bunches, harvested same day.

Cool Season Harvest

Available roughly September through February. Some crops store well and are available even later into winter.

Carrots
Sep – Jan

Carrots

Nantes and Chantenay types — thick, sweet, and excellent for storage. Sold by the bunch or loose by weight.

Beets
Aug – Dec

Beets

Red, golden, and Chioggia (candy stripe). Earthy and sweet. Tops are edible — treat them like chard.

Winter squash
Sep – Dec

Winter Squash

Butternut, delicata, and acorn squash. Cured and stored on-farm for weeks after harvest — flavour actually improves in storage.

Broccoli
Sep – Nov

Broccoli & Cauliflower

Fall-grown brassicas are sweeter and firmer than summer ones. We grow both standard and purple varieties.

Potatoes
Aug – Feb

Potatoes

Yellow flesh, red skin, and blue/purple varieties. Dug once in late summer and stored in our root cellar through winter.

Swiss chard
Sep – Mar

Swiss Chard

Rainbow chard with bright yellow, red, and white stems. One of our most cold-hardy crops — available well into winter.
